Dust Collection Answers:

The drawing is accurate as to the measurements. Each square represents one foot. At the top of the AR Coating room are two black boxes representing two existing wall penetrations from an old dust collector we had previously. The larger opening measures 29"W X 20"H. The smaller opening has a useable opening of 16"W X 16"H. The smaller opening can be easily widened if necessary.

1. We need distances from machines to dust collector.

The approximate distance from the first machine to the back wall where the penetrations are is approximately 60 feet. Since I do not know what diameter duct you are running through the wall, you can use either opening. However, the larger opening would be better, but you would have to make a 90 degree turn at the back wall and then make a 45 degree turn toward the exterior wall where the dust collector will sit. The width of the locker room is approximately 22 feet from the opening in the wall to the exterior wall. A 45 degree run would be longer and be about 32 feet.

2. Please can you provide a parts list or drawing showing location of the collector and the edger.

I have attached a drawing and picture of the MEI System along with the revised drawing of everything. In the picture, it shows the dust exhaust near the bottom of the machine.

3. A drawing of the edger would be very helpful as well.
