RFP: N61340-18-R-1207 CACT, C-20G June 21, 2018

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) QUESTIONS SUBMITTED BY POTENTIAL OFFERORS AND GOVERNMENT RESPONSES

Question: Our CPDLC and Weather Radar E-Learning courses are general, non -aircraft specific rather than particular to the C20G. I am also verifying if we can meet all the maintenance requirements. I was unable to determine form the Q & A in the below email on if either case (non C20G specific E-Learning or not having all of the maintenance courses if that be the case) might disqualify us. I hope we are able to be considered, but if that will rule us out, I do not want to complete and mail out this RFP that I am working on. Can you please forward this with the below string to someone that might able to assist with an answer?

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The Weather Radar may be non-aircraft specific, however, due to variations in aircraft communication/navigation systems, the CPDLC (Controller Pilot Data Link Communications) shall be specific to the Gulf stream G450/550 series Aircraft. Additionally, as previously stated in response to question 2 in the Attachment to Amendment 1 of the RFP, “… any proposal not meeting all the technical requirements as stated in the “EVALUATION SECTIONS FOR AWARD” will be deemed unacceptable and not eligible for award.”

To reemphasize, the offeror (Prime Contractor) must be able to provide ALL training courses as required in the C-20G RFP. This does not prevent teaming/subcontracting arrangements, provided one offeror (Prime Contractor) submits a proposal meeting all the requirements.
