Questions and Answers N61331-24-T-JC06
Question 1: Do you have a specific timeline in mind for the delivery or replacement of the UPSs?
Additionally, are you considering acquiring additional insurance coverage for 2 or 3 years for the procured units? Understanding your timeframe and insurance preferences will assist us in providing a more tailored proposal.
Answer: The government does not have a timeline, but would like them soon, as we have failed units we wish to replace. The government has not had insurance coverage on UPS in the past. We have just ordered replacements when they have failed.
Question 2: Could you confirm if there is an incumbent for this procurement? Understanding any existing arrangements or providers would help us better tailor our proposal to meet your specific needs.
Answer: This is a new solicitation. Please submit your best offer according to the documents posted in
SAM.
Question 3. Do you have a delivery term preference? I see both FOB origin and destination from the contract document. It would be nice to know how to provide a service that best suits your team's needs.
Answer: You should quote according to the attachments in the solicitation. The government has not specified a FOB delivery preference. It is the preference of the vendor to quote either way.
Question 4. Is the requirement for the UPS only or are the battery packs needed as well?
Answer: The attachments provided in the solicitation has all the necessary information that is needed to quote. Please submit your best offer according to the documents posted in SAM. Additionally, the government wants to be able to plug these in when they are delivered, so we do need the batteries installed in the UPS.
Question 5. Is the procurement solely for the delivery of equipment or does it also involve services for the installation of the UPS’s?
Answer: This is solely for the delivery of equipment. The government will install.
Question 6. The 1500VA is only 1350W rated and not 1500W rated. They are both line interactive. If you need online double conversion just let us know.
Answer: 1500VA is only 1350W but that is okay. We do not need double conversion.
