About this file

This document summarizes a pre-solicitation conference presentation for a federal contract to procure three target detecting devices. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division is seeking proposals to supply Target Detecting Devices MK 71 MOD 1, MK 157 MOD 0, and MK 163 MOD 0. A pre-solicitation conference was held on February 6, 2018 where the technical requirements and evaluation criteria were discussed. The solicitation is expected to be released on February 28, 2018, with proposals due 45 days later. The contract will be an IDIQ fixed-price agreement for a base year plus four option years. The technical approach, past performance, and price will be evaluated, with technical approach and past performance combined being more important than price. The presentation provided an overview of the requirement and evaluation process to encourage competition and ensure all potential offerors have the same information.
