About this file
This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center on 28 May 2026. The amendment modifies RFQ N5523626Q0074, originally dated 21 May 2026, and is administered by the Navy facility located at 3755 Brinser Street, Suite 1, San Diego, CA 92136 (Code 410A, Code N55236).
The amendment makes three substantive changes to the original solicitation: (a) extends the RFQ due date to 29 May 2026 at 11:00 AM Pacific Time; (b) provides an Itemized Pricing Sheet attachment that potential vendors must complete and submit with their quotes; and (c) updates the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (COMSS) to add three Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses addressing options evaluation—FAR 52.217-5 (Evaluation of Options), FAR 52.217-9 (Option to Extend the Term of the Contract), and FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation Commercial Items). The evaluation methodology for options specifies that the Government will add total option prices to the base requirement price for award evaluation purposes and may reject offers with significantly unbalanced option pricing, though evaluation does not obligate the Government to exercise any options. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the specified deadline through completion and return of the amendment, acknowledgment on submitted offers, or separate written notice to avoid rejection.
