SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET
The following have been added by full text:
QUESTIONS GROUP 00001
Questions Group 00001 Solicitation N4523A24Q4064
Q1: Can you clarify whether each training period (one five day and one six day) must be performed in consecutive or on a non-consecutive schedule?
A1: Two training periods are anticipated, one with a combination of two day and one day classes with a period duration of five days, and a second period consisting of a combination of two day and one day classes with a total duration of six days. While the classes within each of these periods will be consecutive (back-to-back days) the two periods themselves don’t need to be run on consecutive days, as long as both periods are completed within the period of performance as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Example: (the following schedule is only an example, and does NOT establish or imply any performance requirement/scheduling under this solicitation) The period of performance runs from 8/19/2024 through 9/30/2024. The two training periods could run as follows (two-day sessions are in boldface):
Period one, 6 days duration, two two-day classes and two one-day classes starting on Monday, September 9th, and running 9/9-9/10, 9/11, 9/12-9/13, 9/14 Period two, 5 days duration, one two-day class, three one day classes starting on Monday, September23’rd and running 9/23, 9/24, 9/25-9/26, 9/27
Q2: (Pages 8 - 11, CLINs) Please confirm the only pricing submission required is for the offeror to complete the CLINs within the solicitation?
A2: The two CLINs that need pricing info are 0002 (One Day Refresher Course) and 0003 (Two Day Initial Course). CLIN 0001 (and SLINs 000101 and 000102) and CLIN 4 are unpriced.
Q3: (Page 14, Technical Factor 1 Submission Requirement) The submission requirement for Technical Factor 1 references a Corporate Experience Data Sheet. Does the Government have a templated Corporate Experience Data Sheet that offerors are required to use? If not, is it acceptable for offerors to create our own Corporate Experience Data Sheet, which includes:
name of contract, contract number, Contract Owner/Government Agency POC, Contract Type, Period of Performance, Contract Value, and a Brief Description?
A3: There is no preference on the experience data sheet if it includes the information as listed.
Q4: (Page 2, Contractor Furnished Items and Responsibilities.) Would NAVSEA consider additional variants to UTM pistol conversion kits that are like in form and shape to the M18?
N4523A24Q4064
A4: UTM is a brand and not specifically required. The requirement is that the weapons fire training projecticles and are the equivalent training version of a Sig Sauer M18. The rifle requirement is a M16 - M4 training equivalent that fires training projectiles.
