STATEMENT OF WORK

Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF)

1. Background:

PSNS & IMF onboards several hundred employees each year. The command goal is to onboard up to 84 new employees bi-weekly. The rental of a conference room for day one will streamline the process with ease of access to security personnel and badging. The current construct of onboarding up to 84 new employees each cycle is hindered by the amount of employees needing to meet with security personnel and receive badging in a timely manner.

This impacts the tight schedule with employees missing critical briefs causing a hindrance in meeting the command’s hiring numbers and completing indoctrination in a timely and efficient manner.

2. Scope:

Conference room rental that is available on the dates required in calendar year 2023, in close proximity to the Bremerton gate of PSNS & IMF to facilitate the first day of New Employee Orientation (NEO). NEO is conducted for approximately 84 onboarding employees, 6 HR representatives and 6 security personnel for the initial day one of in‐ processing.

3. Requirements:

Tables and chairs set up in a classroom setting to accommodate approximately 84 onboarding employees, three additional tables for HR in-processing, and 1 table for computer set-up.

Hours of use is Monday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.

4. Dates:

February 13th, February 27th, March 6th, March 13th, March 20th, March 27th, April 10th, April 17th, April 24th, May 8th, May 15th, May 22nd, June 5th, June 20th (because of holiday on the 19th), July 17th, July 24th, July 31st, August 14th, August 21st, August 28th, September 11th, September 18th, September 25th, October 23rd, November 13th, December 4th.
