About this file
This document contains government responses to questions regarding solicitation number N4523A23Q1053 for deep cleaning support services of a berthing and messing barge. The responses provide details on the scope of work, including that the vinyl tile floors require two coats of wax after stripping, there is 200 square feet of carpet to be cleaned using a portable steam cleaner as vacuum and steam lines will not reach all areas from the pier. Bathroom sizes and fixtures as well as kitchen appliances are detailed on attached arrangement drawings. No pictures of the barge are available and there are no additional linen, bed, or gym specialty cleaning services required beyond carpet cleaning. Contractors need only provide necessary cleaning chemicals, equipment, supplies and disposables as no other stock, items or furnishings will be required for the barge. Arrangement drawings also show the layout of main and hold decks to be serviced.
