Question 1: How are we supposed to charge for services, is it by the container, services or ton?
Answer: The CLIN structure is set up to provide one price for all visits within one month of service. The current PWS requires three services per week, roughly estimating 12 visits per month, and to empty all containers. The invoicing will be for one month of service provided. The contractor should reasonably price their monthly service charge as if the potential exists for all paper containers to be full and require servicing. Historical paper tonnage usage for PSNS is provided for in the PWS.
Question 2: Can you tell me what the average service time the current provider does when servicing the account each day?
Answer: The Government is not able to provide the data at this time.
Question 3: If we find efficiency while servicing the account and we find we can do the job in 2 days would or could that be an option. Meaning we can do 3 days’ worth of work in 2 days.
Answer: The current PWS requires that there are 3 services provided per week. This is due to the need to have a government escort to unlock bins during each visit per section 7 of the PWS.
Question 4: Can you tell me what mill your current provider is utilizing?
Answer: The Government is not able to provide that information at this time.
