About this file
This document contains a federal contract opportunity solicitation for gull abatement services at the Trident Refit Facility Naval Base Kitsap in Washington. The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation and other non-personal services necessary to reduce the gull population by 90% each day onsite through the use of free flying predator birds. The contractor will patrol the facility with these birds to chase off glaucous-winged gulls and other problem birds. The actual hours of operation will be determined based on when bird pressure is highest at the site. The solicitation was issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command on behalf of the Department of the Navy.
