About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document for a Fire Watch/Tank Watch solicitation. The government clarifies three primary issues: (1) each supervisor must submit a resume, with flexibility allowing contractors to submit one resume with their initial quote if all supervisors are not yet identified, and subsequent resumes must be submitted as contract performance progresses with all supervisors requiring approval prior to reporting to work; (2) the forklift occupation code classification should be used for Firewatch positions; and (3) all Contract Line Items (CLINs), including those previously designated as options, have a unified period of performance from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027, with an amendment to be issued to correct the solicitation document and remove the Option CLINs designation.

Questions for Fire Watch/Tank Watch
Question 1 – If more than 1 Supervisor is going to be provided, do you need resumes for each or only 1 resume regardless of the number that will be provided.
Government Answer 1 – Yes, each supervisor will need to submit a resume.
Question 2 - I’m not seeing any guidance from the Gov’t on which occupation code to use for Firewatch. In the past, the yard advised to use the Forklift classification, can you confirm if that’s still the right approach?
Government Answer 2 – Yes, we are still using forklift classification.
Question 3 – Section F – Deliveries or Performance of the solicitation includes a period of performance of 01 May 2026 – 30 April 2027 for CLIN 0001 and Option CLINS 0002 through 0007. Is the period of performance for the option CLINs correct, or will an amendment be issued to revise the period of performance?
Government Answer 3 – Yes, all CLINs are May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027. There are no Option CLINs.
That will be fixed in the amendment of the solicitation.
Clarification for Question 1: In recent RFQs, one supervisor resume has sufficed for the proposal, and subsequent submissions were to be delivered each week until 100% manning was achieved. Will the Government confirm only one supervisor resume is required for the proposal?
Answer: If you know who is going to be your supervisor’s, please submit all resumes with your quote. If you do not, submit 1 with your quote and submit as the others as the contract progresses. They will still need to be approved, thus all supervisors need to submit a resume prior to reporting to work.
