About this file

This document is a Bidders Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for federal solicitation N4215826QE056 regarding a Pure Water Tank procurement.

The Q&A addresses a bidder inquiry regarding the lack of a complete dimensioned assembly drawing in the specification, which initially showed only the tank top. The government clarified that the Statement of Work provides details for tank connections and components located on the top and underside of the tank, along with restrictive height and width dimensions to ensure the assembled tank fits within a standard ISO-668 intermodal container opening. The government indicated that vendors are expected to develop their own drawings that include the tank assembly, saddle, lift lugs, and piping connections meeting the Statement of Work requirements. The government explicitly stated it did not provide a dimensioned tank drawing for vendor fabrication or dimensional specifications for connection details such as pipe lengths. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged and in full effect.

BIDDERS QUESTIONS:

I. The following Bidder Questions and Answers shall be considered the following when submitting proposals for solicitation N4215826QE056 – Pure Water Tank.

Q1. The specification only shows the tank top. Can you please provide full assembly drawing with dimensions? Are you able to provide a dimensioned assembly drawing?

A1. Our Statement of Work provided details of certain connections and components for the tank (located on the top and some on the underside of the tank).

The Statement of Work also provides restrictive height and width dimensions to ensure the tank assembly can fit within a standard ISO-668 intermodal container opening.

From the Statement of Work we are anticipating vendors to develop a drawing with associated tank saddle, lift lugs, piping connections (meeting statement of work requirements), etc. We did not develop a tank drawing with dimensions for vendor fabrication. We also did not develop dimensional details for the connections specified in the Statement of Work (pipe lengths, etc.).

II. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full effect.
