About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for solicitation N4215826QE026 for light fixtures. The solicitation does not require Buy American Act (BAA) or Buy American Compliance (BAC) compliance, as the fixtures will be used in shore-based facilities and are not being permanently installed shipboard. Unless there is a conflict with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), no additional sourcing limits or requirements apply beyond standard FAR provisions.

Regarding delivery requirements, the government prefers all material to be secured and in-hand prior to project start. Partial shipments with delayed delivery of remaining units are not acceptable, nor are minor variations in the delivery schedule that would prevent fulfillment of the total quantity requirement within the specified timeframe. The proposal submission deadline has been extended from 26 March 2026 at 12:00 PM to 27 March 2026 at 12:00 PM local time. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged and in full effect.
