About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Navy contract opportunity for NRRPT Exam Training. The Q&A addresses key details about the training, including instructor requirements (two instructors are not mandatory), facility accommodation for 30 trainees, and NRRPT registration status. Specific responses clarify that all students have submitted NRRPT applications, with payment and late registration fees being a contract requirement, and three students are currently scheduled for retakes. The document confirms this is a brand-new project, with previous similar services having been contracted below the mandatory award level. Submissions are due by 10AM EST on July 23rd, 2025, to jordan.e.moore.civ@us.navy.mil, with the expectation that the technical point of contact will be available immediately upon contract award.

Submissions are due to jordan.e.moore.civ@us.navy.mil by 10AM EST on July 23rd, 2025.
1. Is the use of two (2) instructors mandatory? And is the reasoning for 2 instructors due to the class size of 30 trainees?
The use of two instructors is not mandatory. Utilize what you think is best based on the class size of a maximum of thirty students.
2. Can NNSY facilities accommodate the full group of 30 trainees and instructors?
Yes, our facilities will accommodate thirty students and two instructors.
3. For NRRPT registration purposes, can a list of trainees be provided, or have these individuals already been registered? Additionally, will registration be managed by NNSY or the contractor?
All students have submitted applications to NRRPT, and they are being processed but NRRPT is awaiting payment. Payment, including a late registration fee to NRRPT is a required part of the contract. There are currently three retakes in the group.
4. Can we have the TPOC contact immediately upon award or have the technical contact for the contract contact us directly to facilitate expeditious execution of the award?
Yes, as soon as we’re notified of a contract, we can contact you.
5. Is there any incumbent/recompete or is this a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.
This is a brand-new project. We have contracted out before, but the project was below the mandatory award level for a full contract process.
