About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for troubleshooting and repairing high voltage circuit breakers on the USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) naval vessel located at Naval Station Guam. The SOW requires marine electrical specialists with high voltage qualifications and OEM service repair certification to investigate two high voltage circuit breakers that are tripping without an obvious cause, inspect primary disconnects for damage, test closing and tripping devices, and reinstall breakers with ship's force assistance.

Key performance details include a work period from December 5-15, 2025, with an estimated three days of onsite support required. The contractor must submit completion reports to the Chief Engineer and MSC representative within two weeks of repair completion. Recommended service providers include Point Eight Power, Powergen, and Custom Pannel. Critical safety requirements mandate strict adherence to high voltage area protocols, with special note that electrical cable color coding is inconsistent, and all cables must be considered energized until individually tested and verified as de-energized. The opportunity is issued by the Department of the Navy Military Sealift Command, with solicitation number N4044626Q5001.
