About this file
This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for project 7354307, Repave Parking Lot Mess Hall at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina. Amendment 0001 was issued on August 11, 2026 by the Coast Guard MCAS Cherry Point Facilities ROICC in response to nine pre-proposal inquiries (PPIs) submitted between August 4-7, 2026. The solicitation remains open with a proposal due date of August 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM local time, and offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to submission.
The nine PPIs address technical specifications and construction requirements including: asphalt leveling methods, drainage system preservation during milling and repaving, handling of low-water-ponding areas, tack coat and prime coat application requirements, timing of permanent versus temporary pavement striping, wheel stop replacement specifications, on-site storage of milled asphalt, and compaction and core testing requirements. All government responses direct contractors to "PROVIDE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PROJECT PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS," with specific references to sheet CS101 for low-area drainage requirements and general guidance that drains must remain functional and all work must follow the project drawings and specifications.
