About this file
This document is a Sources Sought announcement for the P-1069, Maritime Surveillance System Facility project at Naval Air Station Oceana/Dam Neck, VA. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Mid-Atlantic is seeking eligible small business firms capable of performing construction services for this project, which involves constructing a new 2-story steel-framed Maritime Surveillance System Facility and renovating an existing building. The project has an estimated construction cost between $100 - $250 million and the anticipated award date is July 2025. The government is conducting market research to determine if the procurement should be set aside for small businesses. Interested firms must demonstrate experience with new construction of a 2-story steel-framed building costing at least $40 million, renovation of a multi-story building costing at least $10 million, and other specified complexity factors. Responses are due by November 22, 2024 and should be limited to 4MB. The government will use the responses to make acquisition decisions but will not provide debriefs.
