About this file
This document is an amendment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the replacement of four rooftop HVAC units at Building 310 at the Naval Air Station Oceana, Dam Neck Annex in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The amendment clarifies that complete demolition of the existing rooftop unit support structures is required, and provides instructions to design and install a new curb support system. It also states that the reference drawings may not accurately reflect current conditions, and the contractor must field verify all existing conditions. The amendment specifies that a single person cannot serve as the Quality Control Manager, Site Safety and Health Officer, and Superintendent. It confirms that US citizenship is mandatory for all contractor personnel working on this project, as access to the Naval Special Warfare Development Group compound is restricted. Only contractors in the specified MACC group are eligible to submit proposals for this project.
