CONTINUATION SHEET

1. QUESTION: Is a Bar Chart Schedule acceptable on this project or is a NAS schedule required per Spec Section 01 32 17 Network Analysis SYSTEM (NAS) Paragraph 1.4. Please advise.

ANSWER: Bar chart is acceptable.

2. QUESTION: 2. Note # 4 on the drawing references adding access holes for installation of wiring. With the interior ceiling being sloped to follow the roof line there will be very limited space above sheetrock at the locations where the new lights are shown to be installed. Our subcontractor suggests using “fished MC cable” for installing the new wiring to avoid having to add the large amount of access holes that would be needed to install this wiring as EMT conduit with proper strapping to the interior ceiling structural members. If this is not acceptable another suggestion would be to choose a surface mount light fixture instead of the recessed can type described and install the conduit exposed on bottom of sheetrock ceiling. Please advise.

ANSWER: The use of MC cable is acceptable for areas that are inaccessible. All exposed conduit shall be type EMT.

3. QUESTION: Please advise who will be responsible for moving the bunk beds and furniture out of the way for the installation work and the put back of furniture once work is complete?

ANSWER: The Marines will move their racks and gear out of the way and move it back daily during construction. Please provide the POC with the work schedule to ensure there are no work delays.

3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
