About this file

This document is a Notice 1 containing Request for Information (RFI) Questions and Responses for federal contract opportunity RFQ N40084-26-Q-1024.

The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Far East is procuring a Medium Rescue Vehicle. The RFI clarifies three key points from potential vendors: (1) this represents an actual tender rather than a budget exploration; (2) revised specifications for the cabin, which were not clearly described in initial documents, will be provided in a forthcoming solicitation amendment; and (3) the bidding deadline has been extended to October 5th to allow vendors adequate time to calculate estimates for colors and other detailed specifications that were omitted from the initial solicitation. All revisions and deadline changes will be formalized through a Standard Form 30 amendment. The document is restricted to Department of Defense community distribution only.
