(Sect/Para/Page)

QUESTION GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

1 Site Visit Is it the contractor's obligation to pick up ilegal dumping?

Illegal dumping of bulk waste is not the contractor's responsibility. However, all general waste (legal or illegal) is still the contractor's responsibility to pick up waste from the enclosures per the PWS.

2 Site Visit Can the Gvt educate the BEQ to tie up their trash bags before putting out?

YES, The government has standards that they are to adhere to, but this does not alleviate the contractors’ responsibilities.

3 Site Visit The contractor would like to suggest if it's possible for the Gvt to place dumpsters request for when BEQ's tenants are moving in and out. This way would be more effectively and efficiently for both sides.

Noted. It is still the contractor's responsibility to pick up waste from the enclosures per the PWS.

4 Spec Item 2.3.4 Permits and Licenses/ 0200000

5 Spec Item 2.3.3 Permits and Licenses/ 1503030

- Integrated Solid Waste Management/ Page36

/ATTACH_1_PWS

License for collection and transportation of general waste is granted by city, not by prefecture in Japan.

"The Contractor shall possess a valid license from Okinawa Prefecture for the collection and transportation of general waster under this contract."

The description above should be corrected as follows, is it correct ?

"The Contractor shall possess a valid license from all city where all collection point is located for the collection and transportation of general waster under this contract."

It is the contractor's responsibility to obtain and adhere to Federal, host nation (Japanese), JEGS, local prefecture laws and regulations.

8 Spec 2.7.1.2 Quality manager

There is a description that The SSHO or an equally-qualified Designated Representative/alternate shall be on- site at all times when work is being performed, but In 2.3.3.3, SSHO is not marked with an asterisk as the necessary personnel.

This is a typo, we will add an asterisk* before SSHO in the PWS. See
