SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE
The following have been added by full text:
AMEND 0001
1. The due date for proposals is extended by one day from 2:00 PM Central Time September 17th, 2013 to 2:00 PM Central Time September 18th, 2013.
2. The following revisions are provided to the scope of work. The Request for Quotes has been revised, a revised conformed copy is included as an attachment to this Amendment. Revised text is show highlighted in bold underlined text. The changes implemented are as follows:
A. The requirement for separate black-out drapes is eliminated. The curtains will have black-out energy efficient liners.
B. Because the black-out drapes are eliminated (see subparagraph A., above), the number of tracks required is reduced from twelve (12) to six (6).
C. A requirement to remove and replace the existing cornices/valances in the main chapel and replace with cornices of a similar type and style is added (4 windows).
D. The existing fabric for the drapes is a cream/ecru low texture brocade. The existing cornices/valances in the main chapel are upholstered in the same fabric as the drapes. The customers requirement is to match this fabric as closely as possible (all windows).
E. Currently the two windows in the small chapel area do not have cornices/valances. Two cornice/valances are added for the two windows in the small chapel area. This is a smaller room which adjoins the main chapel.
F. The scope of work has been clarified to indicate which drapes/cornices and draw types are required for the Main chapel versus the small chapel area (the existing drapes for the small chapel have no cornices, see subparagraph E., above.)
G. The customer requests separate pricing for motorized draws for the Main chapel. The windows in the main chapel each have a power outlet directly below the window so a plug in unit is desired. Wireless remote controllers (hand held) are also required for each window a total of four (4) remote controls. Each remote control will be coded/programmed to operate any of the windows in the Main chapel area.
H. No power is available for the small chapel windows so manual draws are required for those windows.
I. Offerors shall provide a lump sum price for all work required except for the work described in subparagraph J., below under CLIN 0001. Offeror’s price for CLIN 0001 should assume that all windows (6) will have manual draws.
J. Offerors shall provide a lump sum price only for the difference between providing four (4) motorized draws in the main chapel versus manual and four (4) hand held remote controllers under CLIN 0002 in schedule B.
3. Changed or added text has been highlighted with bold and underlined text.
4. No other changes are made by reason of this amendment.
5. Failure to acknowledge this amendment will result in the offerors proposal being found to be non responsive and not considered for award.
