About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of ANSYS software and associated technical support services by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Expeditionary Program Office (ExPO). The software is required to support multiple ExPO projects that simulate and analyze different barges, vessels, and amphibious crafts for stability and hydrodynamic analysis. The SOW specifies the quantity and type of ANSYS software licenses and technical support required, with a period of performance of 365 days from the award date. The place of performance is Building 1100 in Port Hueneme, CA. The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number N3943024Q0051 for the "ANSYS Renewal and Support" requirement, issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command.

STATEMENT OF WORK
1.0 Introduction
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Expeditionary Program Office (ExPO), Sealift Support Program, EX26, requires the procurement of the ANSYS software. ANSYS is an engineering simulating software predominantly based on implementations of the finite element method and computational fluid dynamics. The software will include simulation packages for multi-physics, structural mechanics, fluid and explicit dynamics, electromagnetics, and simulation process & data management. Along with the software packages, NAVFAC EXWC ExPo EX26 requires ANSYS’ Technical Enhancement and Customer Support (TECS) product. TECS provides technical support and access for future software upgrades for ANSYS software.
1.1 Objective
The software is in support of multiple EX26 projects that help simulate and analyze different barges, vessels, and amphibious crafts that require stability studies and hydrodynamic analysis under certain case scenarios or parameters.
2.0 Requirement
NAVFAC EXWC ExPO EX 26 requires contract support to procure the following:
