The requirement consists of three transformer types: twelve (12) units rated 460VAC 400 AMP 400 KVA, one (1) unit rated 460VAC 800 AMP 800 KVA, and one (1) unit rated 460VAC 1200 AMP 1250 KVA. All transformers must convert ungrounded primary power to grounded secondary power, operate over 440-480 VAC 3-phase at 60 Hz, maintain insulation ratings exceeding 10 megohms on both sides, include tap changers for voltage adjustment, and feature safety disconnects or breaker protection on primary and secondary sides. The base performance period runs July 13, 2026 through July 11, 2027 (52 weeks), with three optional periods totaling 14 additional weeks through October 17, 2027. Transformers must be newly manufactured or completely refurbished within ten years, NRTL-approved, dry-type units capable of continuous outdoor year-round operation in harsh weather conditions (-10 to +110°F, 0-100% RH). The contractor is responsible for all maintenance except weekly surveillance checks, with defective units requiring repair within 48 hours or replacement within 72 hours. The contractor must provide technical manuals, equipment data sheets, lifting certifications, and emergency contact information.
