Location of Haskovo and Vidin within Bulgaria

OHASIS ID 35177 - 35182 Page 5 of 106 Version: 001

- Natural stone: The lowest section of the façade, currently with plastered finish shall be provided with a different cover over the thermal insulation. The height of this lowest section varies in different areas of the kindergarten building, but the contractor shall estimate an average height of 1.2 meters. This lowest section shall be provided with new leveled plaster covered with natural stone.

- Paint thermal façade system with 3 coats of paint rated for exterior use and recommended by the manufacturer of the thermal façade system. Provide artistic design with combination of colors for a kindergarten building.

- Floor: Provide new floors at the same height as the adjacent room (or rooms depending on the layout of the bathroom). This means that the contractor shall remove the existing flooring surface before applying the new one. The installation of the new floor tiles over the existing flooring is not acceptable.

Provide new grès tiles of minimum dimension 40x40 cm, sloped towards new floor drains.

Install floor tiles diagonally with respect to the walls. Provide supporting mortar base as necessary and recommended by the floor tile manufacturer. Provide non slippery tiles. Color and pattern to be selected by the beneficiary among ample selection to be provided by the contractor.

The floors shall be sloped towards the floor drain. Testing of the slopes shall be done by pouring one bucket of water in those rooms with water supply and waiting 5 minutes. After this period there shall be no sitting water on any surface of the new floor tiles

Floor Material: Minimum size 40x40 cm. Porcelain stoneware (non-glazed) floor tiles of grès porcelain stoneware, laser cut, with water resistant joints. Grès Porcelain stoneware is a ceramic with a compact, hard, colored and non-porous body. The word “grès” means that the ceramic body of the tile is extremely vitrified, that is to say compact, hence the exceptional great resistance. The result is a lean clay body, little refractory, fired in a kiln (at 1200-1400 C°) until it reaches a non-porous vitrification and a complete water-proofing.

Provide wall base along all walls, with special wall trim pieces similar to the floor tiles.

Cutting floor tiles to be used as wall base is not acceptable.

- Floor drains: Provide minimum of one floor drain per bathroom room. Provide stainless steel floor drain with integral p-trap to avoid bad smells.

The use of gypsum board to level the walls is not authorized. The contractor shall also repair any cracks of structural defects before leveling the walls with the new plaster.

For the interior of the bathrooms, the contractor shall provide ceramic tiles from the floor (wall base ceramic tile) to the new ceiling surfaces. Ceramic tiles shall with minimum dimension 20x30 cm. - Windows (internal and external): Most windows were replaced by the beneficiary. The contract only includes replacing any remaining wooden doors and removing and reinstalling the existing PVC windows in order to provide a perfect connection between the existing windows and the new wall surfaces. For those windows to be replaced, the contractor shall provide new windows with similar quality as the ones replaced by the beneficiary.

- Doors: All entrance doors of the bathrooms shall be replaced with new. Provide new PVC doors without bottom threshold and without locks. The doors shall be installed without bottom threshold to avoid tripping hazards and to allow for proper ventilation. Provide stainless steel threshold to connect the new floor and the existing floor if necessary.
