1 General Question When do you anticipate posting/releasing this on SAM? The solicitation was posted on 14 Mar 2024.

2 General Question Will there any pictures available?

Pictures will need sufficient clearance to be posted and may not meet the proposal submission deadline. Any approved pictures will be added to this solicitation.

3 General Question This is just a sources sought? The solicitation was posted on 14 Mar 2024.

4 Page 5, Item 3.8.b. shipping crate? Do you want wood? Metal? Shipping container?

Parts just need to be palletized. No crates are required but can be used. If parts will be crated the crates need to be easily opened for inspection.

5 General Question after these two units are crated, do you have to move them anywhere?

The Government will be responsible for moving items after they are palletized. Please note Item 3.10 on page 3 in regards to debris generated by contractor.

6 General Question do you have to prepare any kind of manifest? Beyond machine (A) machine (B) ?

Disposal will be completed in its entirety within Pearl Harbor Shipyard utilizing its procedures and policies. As disposal is not in the requirement, a construction or demolition Material Waste manifest will not be required.

7 General Question is there any kind pre‐penalty for finishing earlier than time allotted?

Contractors shall refer to the SF 1449 (Attachment N3225324Q0010_Redacted-v2.pdf ) for details in regards to performance, penalties, and fines.

8 General Question will your work area be free of obstacles? Say be able to get two lifts in the shop?

The shop is still working out of the building so there are some machines/obstacles; however, things can be moved around as needed. building is not tall enough for a crane with the capacity to lift these machines whole.

9 Attachments, APPENDIX_III would it be a correct assumption that this project will be in the CIA? This project is outside of the CIA.
