Questions and Answers for Portable Enclosure N32253-21-Q-0017- MOD:
1) For the area with the removable panel, how deep does this need to be and what thickness does the backing plate need to be?
2) How much do the objects on the non-roofed side weigh?
3) Do these enclosures need to be hurricane-rated?
4) What internal temperature needs to be maintained in each enclosure?
1) Panel needs to be thick enough to mount the connector receptacles and withstand the weight of the cables connected without warping. Would expect panel wall to be 1/4” thick. Panel can be flush with the wall.
2) The entire unit has a roof including the patio. The patio is missing walls on three sides. The weight on the patio should be between 2200-2500 lbs.
3) Does not have to be hurricane rated.
4) 77 Degrees F minimum while exposed to direct sunlight during summer
Please confirm the size of Structure.
The written specifications call out a 8'x20'.
5.2. ENCLOSURE STRUCTURE (see separate figure attachment) 5.2.1. Each enclosure must have the dimensions shown in the separate figure attachment (Width 8 feet, Length 20 feet, etc.).
Height of interior of enclosure shall be minimum 7’ 6”.
The drawings show a dimension of 96"x144" (8'x12').
Also an error in the SOO states the container should be 8’X20’. The correct dimension is 8’x12’ as shown in the diagram.
