Questions and Answers

Question:

1. Does the Government have a recommended source for the Cruisair Technical Representative for work item 514‐31‐001, as paragraph 3.6 implies that manuals and product specification sheets that tend to be proprietary be turned over to the Supervisor at completion of work? Paragraph

3.6 appears to contradict paragraph 3.1 which only requires a Qualified Marine HVAC Technician to complete the work.

Answer:

The GOVERNMENT does not have a recommended source. Please bid accordingly.

Yes ‐ Typo, it is not CFW.

3. WI 529‐11‐001 lists 1.3.1 as aluminum, 1.3.2 and 1.3.3 lists carbon steel. The referenced drawings do not show carbon steel. Is the material listed in the WI correct?

No, do it per the specs. Find source that can do it per the specs.
