4. Is there a preferred format for vessel pricing?

ANSWER – Please see MSC SPECIALTIME 2024 (Rev. 1 (12-24)), PART X – INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS(a)(1)(b)(18)(xi)&(xiii). Those items are the “Per diem rate and an explanation of any bonuses proposed” [Part X(a)(1)(b)(18)(xi)] and a “Completed Fuel Consumption spreadsheet” [Part X(a)(1)(b)(18)(xiii)].

5. Is this an SCA – covered contract for a Louisiana based contractor (vessel operator)?

6. Will MSC provide drawings of Charterer provided equipment and required stow plan if available?

ANSWER – No, these are not available at this time.

ANSWER – Yes, the Government will provide the LARS, and the equipment is considered Government Furnished Equipment.

8. Will MSC provide foundation materials for securing charterers supplied equipment to the vessel deck? This would mean Owners are only responsible to provide labor. Or are Owners responsible to provide all materials securing/lashing/unleashing all deck equipment and foundations for all of Charterers’ provided equipment on the vessel deck?

ANSWER – The owners will be responsible to provide materials/labor for installing and uninstalling the Diving LARS system as in accordance with the PWS in order to enable the vessel to deliver all of the required services under the PWS and return the vessel to its original state.
