QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (02)

The following are answers to questions received from potential offerors. The answers provide clarification only and DO NOT constitute an amendment to the solicitation.

1. Document: Performance Work Statement Para 4: Requirements: All TRL QMED courses are USCG certified. Please advise if it is intended for the RFPEW Assessments class, a 5 day course, be included as noted Para 4 - if so, will it be intended as a add on to the FOWT class? It would result in the FWTO course being 5 weeks.

ANSWER:

Yes, if student requires RFPEW assessment, FOWT class would be extended to a five week course.

2. Document Performance Work Statement Para 4.a.(3) Pumpman/Machinist - a minimum of 5

Classes per year (2-6 civmars per class} Due to the high cost of support equipment for this class a minimum of 3 students are needed to run this class- is this change possible?

No, increasing number of students to three per class would significantly increase the amount of funding available for this contract.

3. Document: Performance Work Statement Para 9: Pricing: "Offeror will provide separate pricing for classrooms, student material, instructor fees" , also there are monthly lease fees for the facility, liability Insurance, student dining facility and daily transportation for students- Para 9 goes on to say the offeror shall provide pricing as cost per student. Does this mean just one final cost figure for each student rather than separate pricing as noted? Our experience is that one pricing - per student is most workable.

Yes, just one cost figure per student.

4. Document: Combined Synopsis and Solicitation Notice Para 1. The quote shall contain the following:

- Price quote which identifies the requested items, and unit price - Does unit price mean tuition cost for each student?

- There will be no shipping charges and extended price.

ANSWER: Yes, unit price mean tuition cost for each student. Shipping charges are not applicable to this service requirement.

Yes. Unit price means tuition cost per student

5. - Firm -fixed price total - there will be no shipping charges?

ANSWER: Yes, the award is firm-fixed price – shipping charges are not applicable to this service procurement.

6. Remittance address - as a WAWF payment contract we assume the remittance address will be the bank we do business with?

ANSWER: Yes, the remittance address is a unique destination address that is required to receive payment for an invoice. For further information, please see 252.232-7006 WIDE AREA WORKFLOW PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS (MAY 2013) indicated on pgs. 45-47 of Solicitation N32205-18-Q-2014 Amendment 0001.
