STABILITY TEST-REMOVAL
1.0 ABSTRACT:
1.1 Remove and store various material for individual work items.
2.0 REFERENCES/ENCLOSURES:

2.2.1 Light Ship Material Removal List.
3.0 DESCRIPTION/QUANITITY:
3.1 As per enclosure (1) light ship list of material.
7.0 PREPARATION OF THE SHIP:
7.1 The SHIPYARD shall be responsible for the complete temporary removal and stowage of the items listed in enclosure 1. Stowage will be in addition to that required by the WI# 015 Storage. Upon completion return all items to their original location.
7.2 All removals will be coordinated with individual work items..
7.3 Stage Spring Buoys (4) listed in Enclosure (1) in an area where Ships Force can chip, paint and make repairs. Provide protective berm for prep & painting . Dispose of all paint debris upon completion of all repairs and painting.
8.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: None additional.

Light Ship Material Removal
FIXED MISSION GEAR REMOVAL LIST
The following items shall be temporally removed by shipyard personnel from spaces aboard USNS SALVOR.
Weather Deck Midships: (Work Item 601/603/631 & Ship Force Work)
· 4 Spring Buoys located FWD and AFT, port and starboard, at approximately FR 46 & FR 52 on 02 LVL
· 35’ Workboat on port side
· Rigid-hull Inflatable Boat (RIB) located on starboard side
· Drums and other liquid containers stored in plastic HAZMAT LKR located on 01 LVL port side and aft of door from weather to Passage 01-53-3-L at approximately FR 58.
(Approximately 8 Drums.)
Weather Deck AFT: (Work Item 507)
· 2 tow bows (each with center component and port/starboard components) stowed on top of the LAZARETTE (1-78-0-A)
· Note: Only 1 tow bow was observed aboard USNS SLAVOR during the OCT 2014 VR availability ship check. During the 2015 MTA, both stowage locations shall be checked and all stowed tow bows will require removal.
· Hawk anchor and hawk anchor stock mounted to the top and aft bulkhead of the LAZARETTE (178-0-A)
Chain lockers: ( Work Item 503)
· Chain in CHAIN LKR 3-78-1-A- 2 SHOTs of 2 ¼” Salvage Chain.
· Chain in CHAIN LKR 2-78-2-A- 2 SHOTS of 2 ¼” Salvage Chain.
Wire Rope Bins: (Maybe Removed or Protected for WI# 107-R/R Scuttle )
· Wire Rope-
· Outboard Wire Rope Bin
· 2” X 50’ qty (4).
· 1-1/8” X 65’ qty (1).
· 2” X 40’ qty (2)
· 2-1/4” X 40’ qty (1)
· 2-1/4” X 50’ qty (1)

· 1-5/8” X 300’ qty (2).
