QUESTION:
Per item 107, paragraph 3.0 calls out for a STBD Gear Locker L/H Frame with the dimensions 26” X 66.” Paragraph 4.0 (Government Furnished Material) lists a Boat Gear Locker L/H Frame with the dimensions 36” X 66.” Are these two separate gear lockers, or is 4.0 a typo?
ANSWER:
Yes, this is a typo. Paragraph 4.2.1 should read 26” X 66”.

Yes it’s vague because we don’t know what’s causing the “MIGRATION” as stated in the work item.

The Vessel has never completed an Incline Experiment and we have no Stability Booklet, (X-USS Salvor (Navy)).

TITLE: Clutch Inspections and Overhauls
Currently, we are unclear as to what materials we are responsible for. Other than the Government Furnished Equipment /Materials/Services you are providing, what material are we expected to provide per paragraph 7.9? Are we replacing the clutches? Could you please provide a material list of any parts etc. we are expected to provide? Are the materials we are expected to provide based on Condition Found Reports? Please elaborate.
Any additional material/parts will be addressed within a CFR after the inspection. The contractor will not be required to provide any Clutch Parts prior to inspections and any parts required will be covered by a change.
We have no indication at this time that the clutches need replacing.

Can you please provide drawings and more information regarding this procedure? Furthermore, there is no mention of drawings in this spec. Are they not required? I see no mention of NDT either. Could you please elaborate? Thanks.
There were two(2) pdf file embedded on the last page of the work item with pictures and a diagram . I will include them in the event you were unable to open them.
We want to crop off the existing Ramps (port & stbd) and move the entire ramp frame forward.
The Navy with their increased crewing had a set of ramps forward which we removed. Now the ship wants them moved back and is indicated on enclosure (2).
All weld will be to ABS specifications and requirements.
