NAWCAD is providing three (3) computer-generated tables, in Attachment 1-Pricing Tables 1-3 (Materials, Installation, and Maintenance), that include general product and pricing, installation, and maintenance categories necessary to evaluate proposed unit prices. The contractor shall provide part numbers and unit prices necessary to accomplish pricing of the NAWCAD requirements as described in Section C.
NOTE: There are multiple TABs located at the bottom of the spreadsheets. These tabs have been set up to automatically calculate the estimated total of each tab. There are 3 tabs for pricing associated with are Attachments 1, 2, and 3 which includes base through option year 4 and a summary tab which calculates the total.
2.1 Definitions
These tables provide for the necessary information for each piece of equipment that NAWCAD intends to purchase. Below is an explanation of the categories:
CLIN Number – NAWCAD included a column for CLINs, but left it blank for contractors to number themselves. List any line items as necessary.
Product Description – NAWCAD entered the description of the specific equipment or service.
Original Equipment Manufacturer – The equipment listed in Attachment 1 shall include Polycom and Creston brand names as well as material brand names to be determined (TBD) by the contractor. For the materials TBD, NAWCAD has provided minimum technical requirements; contractors are to provide equipment which meets or exceeds these requirements.
OEM Model – Contractors are to insert the Manufacturer Model numbers.
Vendor OM Price – This is the contractor’s open market price per unit (QTY 1).
Price to NAVAIR – This will be the firm-fixed price being offered by the contractor on a per unit basis (QTY 1).
Estimated Equipment Total Excluding Maintenance & Installation – This automatically calculates the contractor’s price to NAVAIR. An embedded formula multiplies the contractor’s price to NAVAIR by the Estimated Quantity. No action required by the contractor.
Annual Maintenance Cost (Polycom and Creston brand name equipment only):
1) Equipment currently under maintenance is itemized on the Maintenance Spreadsheet, Attachment 4.
2) New equipment – The total cost to put the new equipment under maintenance for one year (after warranty expiration if applicable) on a per unit basis. (Example: it will cost $120 for one year of maintenance on one piece of equipment.)
Installed during normal business hours – Contractor to insert what the total cost would be to install during regular business hours per unit. Regular business hours are defined as 0700 EST – 2000 EST to accommodate East and West Coast Continental United States (CONUS) business interactions.
Installed after normal business hours – Contractor to insert what the total cost would be to install after regular business hours per unit. Regular business hours are defined as 0700 EST – 2000 EST to accommodate East and West Coast Continental United States (CONUS) business interactions.
Base Year – Contractors are to insert the cost for the base year.
Option Year 1, 2, 3, & 4 – Contractors are to input the costs of the option years, which will be used if NAWCAD exercises each option year.
