one for each workbench area.

8. Would a 10” touch panel meet the requirement? Response: Concur

Background: Document ““24R0035 Solicitation.pdf” states in 2.2.2.1.1. there will be room classification status.

9. Are the room classification signs existing GFE devices (if so, please provide make and model for programming)?

Response: Not requested in solicitation.

10. Please confirm that both rooms will always operate at the same classification

(diagrams do not show separate systems).

Response: The rooms will operate at secret level; however, if no secret is being displayed the system should indicate unclassified as listed under 2.1.2. requirements.

Background: Document “24R0035 Solicitation.pdf” states in 2.2.2.1.3. Video call status.

11. MS Teams is now available in the Unclassified domain; would the mission want to move to MS Teams for video calls in the Unclassified domain?

Response: MS Team integration is not required for AV system.

12. Would it be preferred to provide a traditional dedicated VTC codec for conferencing on each network?

Response: SWFPAC Personnel doesn’t have AV expertise to answer question directly. The CODEC shall meet DoD Standards, if there is a DoD standard, please provide reference, that states we can utilize one CODEC for multiple classification, if not the traditional dedicated VTC codec for conferencing is preferred for each network.

Background: Document “24R0035 Solicitation.pdf” states in 2.2. AV Systems Sources.

13. 2.2.1. Table Workstation AV Interfaces (HDMI). We are assuming that the encoders in attachment reference 1 are these HDMI connections and a minimum of 12 HDMI video sources with the option to add an additional 4 sources in the future for a total of 16 sources should be supported.

Response: Per page 6 of document “2.1.2a 24R0035 ATTACHMENT 1_Rev.pdf” there are 16 inputs for unclassified systems and 16 inputs for classified systems.

Some are indicated as spares for future growth in attachment and approximate location.

14. Multiple video sources from multiple rooms shall be able to utilize (up to quad Screen - 4 HDMI Interfaces). The diagrams show single outputs for the displays.

Can you confirm if it desired for a single video source to be expanded or blown up to be shown in a larger fashion across a 2x2 segment of screens for detail review?

Response: Confirmed per 2.2.2 item requires quad screen display for WOC screens.

Preferred quad capability in center of WOC space.

Background: Document “24R0035 Solicitation.pdf” regarding section 3. Video Conferencing Capabilities.

15. Does the mission require separate VTC capabilities for each space, or one (1) for both spaces together?

Response: Only required in WOC space.

16. Is the multiple time zones display clock in scope of work for replacement.

Response: Not in scope; however, display clock can be moved by contractors to support purposed monitor layout.

17. Are there raised floors in WOC space?

Response: There are raised floors in about half of the WOC room in area furthest away from Display monitors on wall.

18. Is room 101 off of WOC room?

Response: Yes, reference page 6 of document “2.1.2a 24R0035 ATTACHMENT 1_Rev.pdf” for approximated location.

19. AV Equipment location?

Response: Recommendation is to leverage government provided equipment racks indicated “2.1.2a 24R0035 ATTACHMENT 1_Rev.pdf”; however, if proposal requires additional racks or replacement of racks this needs to be indicated and concurred as a valid solution due to limited spaces in rooms.

20. Can a AV Rack be placed next to ELMR Radio Equipment rack.

Response: No, there is tempest requirements to keep ELMR radio rack away from other IT Equipment racks.

21. Grounding requirements?

Response: UFC-03-580-1 addresses or reference source documentation for proper grounding and bounding. Note there is a grounding bus bar in both the TR-101 and WOC room that can be leverage for AV equipment grounding requirements.

22. What are the contractors required to do with Legacy hardware disposal?

Response: All legacy hardware that is removed shall be provided to Government POC for repurpose or disposal. Contractor will not dispose of any legacy hardware not is in scope of work.

23. Section 2.3.1.2.6: Assuming the Resolution of “3840x1260” is a typo and should be full 4K?

Response: Concur, typo, should be full 4k minimum.

24. Section 2.5.1: Statement “All hardware shall be provided and installed by

Contractor.” But ATT 1 doc states “OWNER FURN” fiber Isolator. Who provides this equipment ultimately?

Response: Contractor provided.

25. Attachment 1: What is the intended use of the Decoders at the Unclassified and

Classified switches? Are these for future expansion, or are there monitors in this system that must be considered for installation?

Response: The requirement is for up to 16 classified and 16 unclassified source locations identified on page 6 of “2.1.2a 24R0035 ATTACHMENT 1_Rev”. The 32 total sources are required to be displayed on whichever monitor the operator desires via touch pads as indicated on page 7 of “2.1.2a 24R0035 ATTACHMENT 1_Rev”.

There will be more sources than monitors, not all sources will be displayed concurrently; however, operator shall have the option to select which display. The decoders are a reference point for hardware required to connect monitors.

Additionally, the term “decoder” might not be the appropriate term to connect AV systems input sources to the monitors on walls.

26. Can you clarify the locations for the (3) touch panels? Assuming (1) in WOC, (1) in WOC Expansion room.

Response: The touch panels location are (2) in WOC and (1) in WOC expansion;

one for each workbench area.

27. Is Video Conferencing to be functional in the WOC room only? Does the WOC Expansion room need to be able to administer Video Conferencing as well?

Response: Video Conferencing to be functional in the WOC room only.

28. What process, if required, equipment is not listed on the APL? Most APL equipment is network or security related.

Response: Made in America or TAA complaint hardware required.
