About this file

This is a Presolicitation Notice of Intent issued by NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia for repair services supporting the F/A-18 aircraft. NAVSUP WSS intends to award a 5-year Long Term Contract (LTC) using single-source procurement authority under FAR 6.302-1 and FAR Part 15 procedures. The Government intends to solicit the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CAGE 98247) for the repair and/or modification of various items identified by National Item Identification Numbers (NIINs), a complete list of which is referenced as an attachment. The Government does not possess the necessary data to perform the required repairs internally, necessitating contractor support for labor, material, and facilities.

All responsible sources may submit capability statements in response to this notice within 15 days of publication to express interest and demonstrate capabilities. While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, all submissions received within the 15-day window will be considered, and the Government reserves the right to compete the contract based on responses received. Non-approved sources must submit source approval information with their proposals using the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair; however, award will not be delayed pending source approval. The Point of Contact for additional information and source approval packages is Timika Nicholson at Timika.D.Nicholson.CIV@us.navy.mil.
