SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET

The following have been added by full text:

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 3

Question 1: Is the room shown at the top of the floorplan the Server Room?

Answer 1: No, the server room is not depicted on the floorplan.

Question 2: Regarding paragraph 4.1, specify the wall where the Amphitheater video array will be mounted.

Answer 2: The video array will be mounted on the wall opposite that of the room referenced in question 1 concerning the floor plan.

Question 3: Regarding paragraph 4.1.c, a wall size of 192” x 81” translates to a 4x3 array of 55” displays. Is that the intent?

Answer 3: Yes, we are requesting a 4x3 array of 55” displays.

Question 4: Regarding paragraph 4.1.d, clarify the requirement for damage protection of the video wall. Is a plexiglass cover being requested?

Answer 4: The amphitheater experiences a high volume of traffic. In response, we are requesting a way to protect this investment. The method of which will be vendor dependent.

Question 5: Regarding paragraph 4.1.f, specify what is to be managed in the audio endpoints through the control touch panel.

Answer 5: The control touch panel will control the audio array which supports VTC, presentation audio and teleconferencing.

Question 6: Regarding paragraph 4.1.g, must “full room ceiling microphone array” consist of multiple units to cover the whole Amphitheater? Is the intent to include anyone in the room in a video conference?

Answer 6: Yes, the microphone array is intended to include anyone in the room for video conferencing.

Question 7: Regarding paragraph 4.1.h, 1920x1080 displays are specified, but are no longer available from many vendors. Are 4K displays OK?

Answer 7: Yes, 4k displays are okay.

Question 8: Regarding paragraph 4.1.m, the Server room is 76 ft. from the video wall. Is there an existing path through the ceiling from the video wall to the Server room?

Answer 8: Conduit will run the length of the path and available for use.

Question 9: Regarding paragraph 4.2, specify where the screen is to be mounted.

N0025320Q0080

Answer 9: The projector screen is to be mounted above the display wall and hidden just inside the ceiling tiles.

Question 10: Regarding paragraph 4.2, is the projector to be upgraded to 4K?

Answer 10: The projector can be 4K.

Question 11: Regarding paragraph 4.3.a, the Lobby wall is divided into 3 sections: 11’ x 6’, 5’ x 6’ and 7’ x 6’. 65” displays may be mounted there as a 2x2 array and two 2x1 arrays to fill this area, leaving a 1’ border around the displays. Does this meet your objectives?

Answer 11: (see answer to question 12)

Question 12: Regarding paragraph 4.3.a, should this area be treated as one 4x2 array spanning all displays or each surface as a separate wall?

Answer 12: Angled corners in the wall separate each surface. Therefore, the left partition should be able to host both three vertical and bezel free 55’ displays or something relative in size. We are seeking a single 55” display for each of the remaining partitions (center and right partitions).

Question 13: Regarding paragraph 4.3.f, distance to the server room is 120 ft. Is there an existing path through the ceiling from the lobby to the Server room?

Answer 13: Yes, there is conduit running the distance of the path.
