On Page 156 of 167, in the table listing Latest Option Exercise Date, the bottom row listing Items (CLINs) 6014, 6015, 6016 states latest option exercise date as 72 months after award*. This is inconsistent with the previous table on page 155 for the 6000 series CLINs which lists the latest option exercise date as 84 months after contract award. Please clarify this inconsistency.
CLINs 6014 (engineering services), 6015 (hardware repair services), and 6016 (ODCs) have a Section F delivery of 12 months AOE. The period of performance for these cost reimbursement level of effort service CLINs and cost reimbursement ODC CLIN will not exceed 84 months after contract award. As a result, the latest option exercise date for these CLINs in Section I clause 52.217-9 is 72 months after award.

Would the Government consider any changes to the CLIN/SubCLIN Structure?

As follow up to question #6, we recommend updates to the CLIN/SubCLIN structure to separate the delivery of CGAs and the associated Common Parts Kit material as follows:
- Rename all ‘Production MK54 LWT Common Parts’ CLINs to ‘Production MK54 LWT CGA’. These updated CLINs would be for CGA delivery only.
- Add new CLINs with the title ‘Production MK54 LWT Afterbody Parts’ directly following renamed ‘Production MK54 LWT CGA’ CLINs. These new CLINs would be for everything EXCEPT the CGA (IMU, a warshot fuel tank, afterbody upgrade items and associated mounting hardware).
- Rename all ‘Warranty MK54 LWT Common Parts Component’ CLINs to ‘Warranty MK54 LWT CGA’ CLINs. This updated CLIN would be for the warranty on the CGA only.
- Add new CLINs with the title ‘Warranty MK54 LWT Afterbody Component’ directly following the renamed ‘Warranty MK54 LWT CGA’ CLINs. These new CLINs would be for everything EXCEPT the CGA (IMU, a warshot fuel tank, afterbody upgrade items and associated mounting hardware).
We believe this is advantageous to the Government allowing flexibility in delivery schedules of CGAs and Afterbody Parts.
The recommendation was reviewed and does not meet the Government's requirement to receive the Common Parts as a kit. The recommended changes to the MK54 LWT Common Parts production and associated warranty CLINs will not be incorporated.
