About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document from Amendment 1 of a federal contract solicitation for boots.
The amendment clarifies that vendors are not required to submit physical sample boots for evaluation, even when quoting the exact brand and model specified in the solicitation. Instead, vendors must provide detailed specifications of the boots along with 360-degree photographs that include heel and top views. The specifications must explicitly confirm that the boots are Berry compliant, referring to the Berry Amendment requirements for domestic content in federal procurements.
