About this file
This is an Amendment 1 Questions and Answers document for RFQ N00244-26-Q-0098 issued by Naval Supply Systems Command for the Naval Base Ventura County Port Hueneme Grab-N-Go Food Service Equipment and Installation project. The amendment provides clarification on custom cabinet fabrication requirements that were not fully detailed in the original Statement of Work and RFQ.
The key clarification addresses a custom fabrication cabinet for the Grab and Go project, which must be constructed with integrated sneeze guard and finished to match existing facility aesthetics. The cabinet dimensions are specified as 12 feet wide by 3 feet tall by 34 inches deep, designed to align with adjacent specified equipment for visual uniformity and seamless integration. The contractor is responsible for conducting on-site field verifications prior to final bidding and installation per SOW Section 2.1. This amendment resolves ambiguity regarding the exact width and positioning of the cabinet relative to other equipment in the galley. The original solicitation closed September 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM PST but was extended to September 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM PST. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competition with a firm fixed price contract type.

AMENDMENT 1
Questions & Answers
1) Q. Do you happen to have size and construction details on the custom piece that we can bid against?
A. Regarding the custom fabrication cabinet for the Port Hueneme Grab and Go project, neither the Statement of Work nor the RFQ provides standalone blueprint dimensions; however, the cabinet must be fabricated with an integrated sneeze guard and finished to match the existing facility aesthetics, with its overall dimensions (depth, height, and profile) designed to align directly with the adjacent specified equipment for visual uniformity and seamless integration, while the contractor remains responsible under SOW Section 2.1 for conducting on-site field verifications prior to final bidding and installation.
2) Q. Is there a way you can confirm adjacent from which piece of equipment? There is a lot of specified equipment, it’d be impossible to know if the cabinet needs to only be 71” wide across from #2. Or if it would need to be across from three of them lined up – more like 213”.
A. Custom cabinet dimensions are: 12' x 3' x 34"
