About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) spreadsheet for Solicitation No. N00244-25-Q-S019, issued by the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) for Self-Contained HAZMAT Storage Containers. The Q&A addresses specific details about the procurement, including container specifications, delivery requirements, and product certifications. Key clarifications include confirming a 20ft container size, acceptance of Safety Storage components and structures, delivery to Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) Hazmat Compound Building 1206 in San Diego, and confirmation that equivalent electrical components to Eaton are acceptable.

The solicitation is for a single firm-fixed price commercial supplies contract for HAZMAT storage containers, to be procured using Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) parts 12 and 13. The procurement will use Wide Area Work Flow for electronic invoicing. The government anticipates awarding the contract to a qualified source capable of meeting the detailed requirements specified in the solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, and no paper copies will be available.
