About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a security system maintenance contract, providing detailed clarifications about an existing access control system. The system is over 15 years old, with key components upgraded in 2020, including Lenel 2220 boards upgraded to X4420's and new HID readers. The contract requires quarterly inspections of hardware, door controllers, readers, and panels, with only three service calls placed in fiscal year 2025.

Key contract requirements include maintaining Lenel version 8.3 software, potentially requiring a Lenel Maintenance Software Agreement, updating the SUSP (Security Uninterruptible Power Supply), and covering 44 existing readers with the ability to add more. The offeror must maintain the SUSP's currency throughout the contract duration and include SUSP renewal in their pricing. Building 1644 was previously marked "TO BE DETERMINED" but is no longer in the scope of work, with an updated equipment list to be referenced.
