The scope of work encompasses VRLA (sealed) battery full-string replacement, battery verification services, UPS capacitor and fan replacement, and preventative maintenance services across three equipment categories: UPS systems (2 preventive maintenance visits annually), power distribution systems (1 annual maintenance visit), and stationary battery systems (1 annual plus 3 quarterly maintenance visits). All work must be performed by an authorized Vertiv vendor/OEM partner, with Vertiv factory-trained technicians as the sole approved service providers. Services include comprehensive maintenance tasks, parts coverage (up to 10% of battery jars per year for sealed batteries), 100% labor and travel coverage seven days per week, 24-hour emergency response within 150 miles of a Vertiv Service City, customer support access, battery recycling with EPA documentation, and detailed reporting. Site-specific requirements include convenient equipment access, onsite staging areas, standard dock delivery accommodating semi-trucks, and 10 business days' advance notice for scheduling all service visits. Award will be made on a price basis to responsible offerors, unless past performance information indicates another offer represents better value, and vendors must be authorized Vertiv OEM partners to be considered for award.
