About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document clarifying requirements for a federal furniture and installation contract across three rooms (124, 125, and 129).
The contract requires two motorized height-adjustable workstations, two returns, and two mobile storage pedestals per the Performance Work Statement Section 4.3.1. For Room 125 (Watch floor), quantities and layout are highly desired but may be modified due to space constraints. Storage solutions including triple-door lockers and bookcase units will have quantities and configurations determined based on layout and space considerations after award. The existing modular panel system is HNI Panel Systems (Type I) manufactured by HON Company, with Flexconnect Electrical System (8-wire) electrical components. All furniture-side modular panel electrical disconnection, relocation, termination, and reconnection work requires a licensed electrician; manufacturer-certified furniture electrical technicians are insufficient. The Government does not provide dimensioned electronic floor plans or CAD backgrounds; contractors must develop measurements during site survey, with exact dimensions provided after award. There is no mandatory site visit prior to award, as clarified in Amendment 01 with updates to PWS Sections 4.2.5 and 5.1.2. Offerors must submit offeror-created material and labor price breakdowns rather than completing a government worksheet. The Government will make one aggregate award covering all three CLINs and all rooms rather than separate awards by room. Delivery and installation completion dates will be coordinated after award per Section 7.1. The period of performance is September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2027.
