Solicitation Questions and Answers: N0018924Q0559
1. How many hours do you estimate each curator will render services during the period of performance (September 27, 2024 - September 26, 2025)?
Answer 1: As stated in the PWS, each contractor will work the hours of 0745 to 1615 except for federal holidays and any other unanticipated museum closures totaling 1976 hours per contractor per year.
2. Are there any preferred or desired qualifications or past experience that would make each curator more successful in achieving the DoD's goals?
Answer 2: Minimum qualifications are listed in Section 5.0 of the PWS. Any additional experience in museum curation or artifact cataloguing and management is desirable.
3. Are there any 'not so obvious' expenses you recommend we anticipate and account for in our proposal that would ensure we deliver curator services successfully?
Answer 3: Sections 2 through Section 5 delineate all of the requirements for a successful candidate for this contract. Usual administration of a government contract is also necessary (employee identification and retention, record keeping and invoicing through Wide Area Workflow, and similar tasks) for successful performance by the vendor outside of the contractor tasks.
4. We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.
Answer 4: N0018923P0800 is their current contract.
