Questions and Answers
1. Will the equivalent be considered?
Answer: these batteries are "direct replacement" parts/components for existing equipment, and the only suitable batteries for this system.
2. Do you have the UPS model # and serial # that needs the batteries?
Answer: Model 90N400400AS44N, Ser# B271789
3. Do you require OEM Factory servicing for the installation of the batteries or will 3rd party suffice?
Answer: Third party TruePower is certified to do the work.
4. Are all the batteries in a battery cabinet separate from the UPS?
Answer: The batteries are in a separate area. They can be isolated from the system for maintenance.
5. Do you require after hours servicing?
Answer: Contractor needs be available for emergency repair calls and maintenance.
6.Will shipping be dock-to-dock?
Answer: Contractor will utilize direct shipping to the loading dock at the facility for receipt.
7. Please confirm:
a. You require the delivery, and installation of (120) Enersys 12HX400’s and the removal and disposal of the existing batteries.
Answer: All items and work outlined in the Performance of Work Statement is required.
b. All UPS maintenance, and operation during battery replacement, will be provided by others.

c. That you are looking to have these batteries factory tested- including drop test and load test.
Answer: These will be tested by the installing company at their facility before being shipped to site.
d. That the address for this install is 601 Oceana Blvd. Virginia Beach, VA 23460.

e. That access to this facility will not be difficult, or involve much more than presenting state issued ID.
Answer: Zero issues for access to site. All of the company’s information is up to date for the sole source. Any contractor access to the facility will need to be in accordance with the security requirements for the facility.
f. Do batteries need to be delivered ahead of time?
Answer: Yes, there is room to store before install into unit.
g. Are there any steps, or logistical difficulties to performing battery replacement?
Answer: No difficulties at all, we have completed this work previously. This is an every 5 year requirement.
