About this file
This document contains a detailed requirements specification for a 17" computer monitor for the Navy, replacing a CRT in an OJ-194 Display Console. Key specifications include a 1280x1024 resolution, 120 cd/m² brightness with 1000:1 contrast ratio, indoor use at 10-40°C, and 115 VAC power. The monitor requires a VGA video connection, does not need a touchscreen, and will mount using four holes on the back. Industrial-grade or specific OEM brands are not required, and a plastic enclosure is acceptable. No MIL-STD certifications, IP ratings, or specialized mounting are needed. The monitor will be used with an SSC-924 Scan Converter and requires a standard 4-5 foot power cable.
