About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding a request for information from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. The RFI relates to the development of high energy laser and rapid prototyping technologies and seeks information to support long term strategic technology development plans. While the RFI initially indicated it may require access to top secret and sensitive compartmented information, the answers clarify all classification requirements will be downgraded to the secret level only. No contract will be awarded based on this RFI, rather it is intended solely for planning purposes. Responses should be unclassified and will not be returned or receive feedback, though they may inform future solicitation efforts.
