About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document for Solicitation N00174-25-R-0006, which provides clarifications regarding the manufacturing of metal parts for the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Key clarifications include: all CLINs must be proposed on for a valid submission, only drawings and ADLs (not CAD files) will be supplied, previously approved RFVs can be included as appendices, and packaging should be commercial except for the MK 14 Tank which requires specific ADL/TDP requirements.
The document provides specific delivery locations: MK12 pallets and MK 14 tanks will ship to McAlester Army Ammo Plant in Oklahoma, while MK3 pallets and other parts will ship to Crane Army Ammunition Activity in Indiana. Important testing requirements are clarified - the government will cover destruct testing costs for Pallets (MK3 & MK12) and Tanks MK 14, with testing to be performed at Navy's PHST center at Picatinny Arsenal NJ. Production deliveries for the MK 14 MOD 4 Tank Assembly are due 105 days after First Article approval, with production rates up to 5,000 per month.
