About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a Bowl Temperature Control System (BTCS) issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD).
The amendment provides responses to requests for information (RFI) regarding the BTCS, including details on the design and specifications of the existing bowl and heating/cooling system. It also extends the proposal due date from March 26, 2024 to April 9, 2024. The solicitation is seeking a firm fixed-price commercial purchase order for a BTCS that must be capable of heating a 420-gallon bowl from 70°F to 180°F in under 30 minutes, and cooling it from 180°F to 70°F in under 90 minutes. The government intends to award the contract on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. Offerors must be registered in SAM and acknowledge all amendments when submitting proposals.
