About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity N00173-26-Q-0003 issued by the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). The document addresses three clarifications regarding sample requirements and work scope.
The responses clarify that provided materials and samples are export controlled and must not be shipped outside the United States. Vendor performance under 10 CFR Part 50 quality accreditation is not required for this work. The scope of work is limited to machining samples to specified geometry according to provided drawings only; no fatigue crack growth testing is required, despite the atypical sample size that might suggest specialized testing.
